Empire Shakedown
The sixth edition of the Empire Shakedown snowboard event coming April 6-7, 2007 in St. Saveur, Quebec is shaping up to be Canada’s biggest. Last years’ event featured a McDonald’s restaurant built underneath the slopestyle rail. We expect more than 20,000 Francophone teens and young adults to take in the spectacle. www.shakedown.ca |

Canada Olympic Park
Just minutes outside Calgary, COP provides the perfect spot for young Calgary locals to be dropped off for a day of shredding in the COP snowboard park. And even though the park is small, and considering Banff is not that far away, COP hosts great events like the Billabong Jr. Pro on February 2-3. www.canadaolympicpark.ca |

What are you doing February 26th to February 28th?
If you’re involved in understanding and/or communicating with tweens, teens or young adults the answer, in our humble estimation, should probably be “attending the Youth Power Summit in Toronto.
We’ve spoken before, both here and in the States, at previous conferences put on by these summit organizers (IQPC) and have always left with interesting context and contacts to move forward with.
Their speaker faculty for this particular event, so far, includes the likes of Xbox, AOL Canada, Rogers Wireless, Unilever Canada, YTV, MuchMusic, Corus, Teletoon and a whole whack of others. Of course, Youthography will also be delivering the proverbial goods at said summit as well. That probably didn’t come as a surprise to any of you.
What MAY come as a surprise to you is that you, our loyal Forward subscribers, can receive a discount of at least 20% off the conference registration fee if you mention Youthography as you register. Pretty cool huh?
Go!
For More information on Youth Power Canada and to download the full conference agenda please visit www.iqpc.com/na-11185-001 or call 1800 882 8684.
